Decoding Consonants
Learning Objective
I can correctly spell words with consonant clusters and silent consonants.
Key Concepts
When making consonant sounds, the air that comes out of our mouth is sometimes blocked by our lips, teeth, or tongue.
To make the sounds of the letters P, B, and M, both of our lips have to close.
To make the sounds of the letters F and V, our teeth have to press down on our bottom lip.
