Key Concepts
In the United States, coins include the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter.
A penny is worth one cent, a nickel is worth five cents, a dime is worth ten cents, and a quarter is worth 25 cents.
Four quarters, ten dimes, twenty nickels, or one hundred pennies are all equal to one dollar.
