I can convert percents greater than 100% and less than 1% into equivalent fractions and decimals.

Key Concepts

To convert a percent less than 1% to a decimal, move the decimal point two places to the left and drop the percent sign.

To convert 1/4% into a decimal, rewrite it as 0.25%, move the decimal two places to the left, and the result is 0.0025.

To convert a decimal greater than one to a percent, move the decimal point two places to the right, which is the same as multiplying by 100, and add the percent sign.
