Key Concepts
When adding polynomials, you can stack them and combine like terms, paying attention to the signs of each term.
When multiplying polynomials with the same base, you add the exponents: xᵃ * xᵇ = xᵃ⁺ᵇ.
To simplify fractions with polynomials, factor the numerator and denominator and then cancel out any common factors.
