Exploring Moon Phases
Learning Objective
I can describe the different phases of the moon and their order.
Key Concepts
The phases of the moon change how the moon looks to us here on Earth.
When the moon is waxing, it is getting bigger, and when the moon is waning it is getting smaller.
A new moon cannot be seen because it is between the sun and the earth, so it can't reflect sunlight toward us.
