I can safely change a flat tire on a car.

Before changing a tire, make sure your vehicle is in a safe location, the vehicle is in park, the parking brake is set, and the hazard lights are on.

Before lifting the vehicle with the jack, loosen the lug nuts about a quarter of a turn.

When putting the spare tire on, make sure the valve stem is facing you and tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.
