The extrude tool in Blender is used to project a volume from a face, creating new geometry by pressing the E key.

The bevel tool, accessed with Ctrl+B, creates a cut on selected edges, smoothing them and adding geometry, which can be adjusted with the mouse wheel or creation panel.

The loop cut tool, activated by pressing Ctrl+R, allows you to cut a loop of faces into sections, adding more cuts using the mouse wheel.
