6th Grade•45 minutes•6.RP.1
Learning Objective
I can explain what a ratio is and give examples of ratios.
Key Concepts
A ratio compares two or more quantities or numbers and shows the relationship between them.
Ratios can be written using a colon, in fractional form, or using the word to.
When writing ratios, order is very important; for example, a ratio of bananas to pineapples is not the same as pineapples to bananas.
